Biography
John R Wieland, CPA, CMA
I began in public accounting in 1993 after graduating cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1992.  A life-long Oshkosh resident, I graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1987.  I have worked in public accounting for all but 3 years when I worked for Banta Corporation ( now RR Donnely).

I keep busy with outside interests.  For a number of years I was involved with the Winnebago Home Builders Association and served as Treasurer for several of those years.  I also enjoy a good political debate and currently serve as Treasurer for the local and district party .

I have also been active in the local Winnebagoland chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants serving in several board positions including President for the 2005-2006 year.  I have attended National IMA conferences as recently as 2012.

When at home I enjoy collecting keychains and have a large collection of over 25,000.
