John R Wieland, CPA, CMA
John began in public accounting in 1993 after graduating cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1992. A life-long Oshkosh resident, John knew he wanted to be an accountant when he graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1987. John has worked in public accounting for all but 3 years when he worked for Banta Corporation.
John keeps busy with outside interests. For a number of years he was involved with the Winnebago Home Builders Association and served as Treasurer for several of those years. He is also active in politics and currently serves as Treasurer for the local party as well as at the district level.
John has also been active in the local Winnebagoland chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants serving in several board positions including President for the 2005-2006 year.
When at home John enjoys collecting keychains and has a large collection of over 25,000.
